Blog Podium: Cricut Seminar and surprises.

On my last post I mentioned that I  participated in the Get Creative with Cricut Seminar taught by Melissa Allen. I also mentioned that we learned what Cricut machines can do and experimented with the Cricut Explore Air and tools. There is no wonder why Cricut is the leader in DIY cutting machines. The room was beautifully set up. I was lucky enough to take a few photos before the class. Was so curious about this machine!

You can actually create papercrafts, party and home decor, vinyl projects, T-Shirts and leather accessories. Melissa also talked about the creative possibilities, how to use the software and mobile app to create items. Look at this inspiration table! So many things we can create. Love the messages, especially the one on the frame that says "Always Stay Curious". That's what creativity is all about. Isn't it?

We used the Cricut software and made this project below from start to finish. We designed and cut the sign "Sipping Pretty" on vinyl for this plastic glass and afixed it to it. It was amazing to see the Cricut Explore Air in motion!

At the end of the seminar we entered a draw for the chance to win a Cricut Explore Air machine. Surprise, surprise...I went home with ONE! I was absolutely stunned when Jennifer called my name at the end of Blog Podium 2016. I really was.

There is no need to explain how I felt about it. After participating in the Cricut Design Space and trying the Cricut software I started working on many ideas I can develop using for the Cricut Explore Air machine. Now I will be able to materialize them!
A set of their Basic Tools and Mats also came with the machine. Amazing! I would like to thank once again Cricut and Melissa Allen for their generosity. Thank you!

Blog Podium 2016 ended up with even more surprises. We all went home with a huge bag of goodies from the sponsors! Thank you!

Until next year!

Thank you for the series of posts on BlogPodium Gabriela! I miss much of the conference myself so I appreciate being able to read about what people experienced and took away from the day. And what a wonderful ending - so great that you got a Cricut machine! Can't wait to see what you create with it.
