It is time to bring plants inside for the Winter. Did you already? The weather has been very unstable here in T.O. We had a mix of cold days, frost in some places then warm days.
Most of my plants stay on windowsills for the whole Winter. I need to ensure they get enough light. They need to get used to this "new" environment after spending a few months outside. I brought mine inside to be safe as well as my culinary herbs about a week or so. You never know...
We need to prepare our plants by cleaning them, removing dead flowers and leaves and checking for any small insects. We should repot them if necessary using potting soil instead of garden soil. Feed them. I always use the same homemade "brew".
My Geraniums are still blooming! They gave us a fabulous show of colour while in the planters outside. I will be pressing and drying some to use in my crafty projects and gift wrapping.
