Gift Wrapping Toppers: Cupcake Liner Flowers and Doily Tutorial

Repurposed Soap Boxes decorated with cupcake liner flowers by Gabriela Delworth

Gift Wrapping is an art that inspires many to create beautiful packages.  I always like to repurpose materials as much as I can in the process. Boxes are one of the things I always collect, reuse and decorate.  This is a beautiful soap box. Love the print and contrasting colours. I wanted to make a nice gift topper for it. This is how I did it.

MATERIALS:

Cupcake liners {these are very small} I used three different ones
Paper Doily
Fabric flower
Fabric leaves {these are wired}
Scrapbooking brads
Glue gun and glue sticks

INSTRUCTIONS:

Made a cupcake liner flower {find my tutorial here}
Secured it with a scrapbooking brad
Affixed  fabric leaves to a paper doily
Glued both things together to the top center of the box using my glue gun
Affixed the cupcake liner flower to it using my glue gun

Repurposed Soap Boxes filled with craft notions by Gabriela Delworth

The inside compartments of these soap boxes are great to fill up with pretty notions. I arranged and placed ribbons, lace trim, millinery and silk flowers and pearl trim in this one above It makes a nice gift for crafty friends.

Find my Cupcake Liner Flowers tutorial right here. Make these Christmas flowers too!

Now back to continue preparing for something very exciting. Will share soon. Stay tuned!
