Balcony Gardening: Must have and easy to grow culinary herbs

Culinary herbs are a must in any balcony garden. There is nothing more rewarding than stepping out and bringing in fresh cuttings for your cooking.
I always keep Rosemary (year round on a windowsill), Basil and Thyme. Basil did amazingly well last year considering it was a very hot Summer and we made tons of pesto! Be prepared to water Basil twice a day during the warmest months.

Rosemary and Thyme are great for harvesting as well. All worth it!

Grow vegetables for your fresh salads. Lettuce is great and easy to care. Water it often.

What's growing in your balcony garden?
