Happy 150th Canada Series: Whale and Bird Watching Tour

Newfoundland Whale and Bird Watching Tour by Gabriela Delworth

Continuing with my Happy 150th Canada Series today I am showing you some shots I took from our Whale and Bird Watching tour.
Usually these companies come to pick you up in a shuttle kind of vehicle at your hotel depending on location.

Make arrangements at the time of booking and make sure yours is on their route. Keep in mind that it takes a while to get to these amazing spots for your tour. Plan your time accordingly and be there at the time of pick up.

I personally love going on boat tours. It is the best way to see things from the water! It is also a lot of fun because you get to meet a lot of people from all over the world. My mission was to see whales and birds. Humpback whales did an under water small show (yes, they were hoping something in the shape of food might have felt off the boat, you see?) we just saw "big waves". Oh, well...

We saw many, many birds living on these rocks (photos above). I really wished I owned one of those two thousand dollar lenses to capture them up close. Well, considering that taking photos in a moving boat is always a challenge I believe these Puffin photos below turned out pretty good. What do you think?
