Walking In the City: Tiger Swallowtail Butterflies sightings at The Beaches in Toronto.

It's hard to believe that the month of August is coming to an end in just two days. Where did the Summer go? It's been wonderfully busy around here enjoying the outdoors, hiking and walking the city.
Today I am sharing an amazing encounter with a Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly at The Beaches. First time I see one! Butterflies come to the Boardwalk where they can feed from flowers (these on the photo above are Butterfly Bushes) and sip dissolved minerals and salt from wet sand.

What a gorgeous butterfly! And how great you were able to get a good photo of it. :) I'm a bit sad that summer is coming to an end. :(

Hi Joann,

Don't be! There are lots of lovely colours in the Fall, tons of things to see and plenty to do outdoors...and yummy food to make.
